Data center

About Data center

A data center is a facility used to house computer systems and associated components, such as telecommunications and storage systems.
It generally includes redundant or backup power supplies, redundant data communications connections, environmental controls (e.g., air conditioning, fire suppression) and various security devices

Hosting

Public Cloud

Dedicated hosting service, Managed Hosting

A dedicated hosting service, dedicated server, or managed hosting service is a type of Internet hosting in which the client leases an entire server not shared with anyone else.
This is more flexible than shared hosting, as organizations have full control over the server(s), including choice of operating system, hardware, etc.

Virtual private server (VPS)

Shared web hosting service

Shared web hosting service refers to a web hosting service where many websites reside on one web server connected to the Internet.
This is generally the most economical option for hosting, as the overall cost of server maintenance is amortized over many customers.

Colocation (Housing)

A colocation centre is a type of data centre where equipment, space, and bandwidth are available for rental to retail customers.
Colocation facilities provide space, power, cooling, and physical security for the server, storage, and networking equipment of other firms and connect them to a variety of telecommunications and network service providers with a minimum of cost and complexity.
Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for other servers located in their data center, called colocation, also known as Housing in Latin America or France.
